Os compostos inorg\u00e2nicos s\u00e3o aqueles que n\u00e3o possuem o carbono como principal elemento, sendo formados por todos os demais elementos da tabela peri\u00f3dica. As principais fun\u00e7\u00f5es inorg\u00e2nicas s\u00e3o:<\/p><p><strong>\u00c1cidos:<\/strong> s\u00e3o compostos que liberam \u00edons H+ em solu\u00e7\u00e3o aquosa. Eles podem ser classificados de acordo com a for\u00e7a, o n\u00famero de hidrog\u00eanios ioniz\u00e1veis e a presen\u00e7a de oxig\u00eanio. Exemplos: HCl, H<sub>2<\/sub>SO<sub>4<\/sub>, HNO<sub>3<\/sub>.<\/p><p><br><strong>Bases:<\/strong> s\u00e3o compostos que liberam \u00edons OH- em solu\u00e7\u00e3o aquosa. Eles podem ser classificados de acordo com a for\u00e7a, o n\u00famero de hidroxilas e a solubilidade. Exemplos: NaOH, Ca(OH)<sub>2<\/sub>, NH<sub>4<\/sub>OH.<\/p><p><br><strong>Sais:<\/strong> s\u00e3o compostos formados pela rea\u00e7\u00e3o entre um \u00e1cido e uma base. Eles podem ser classificados de acordo com a solubilidade, a acidez ou basicidade e a presen\u00e7a de \u00e1gua na estrutura. Exemplos: NaCl, CaCO<sub>3<\/sub>, CuSO<sub>4<\/sub>.5H<sub>2<\/sub>O.<\/p><p><br><strong>\u00d3xidos: <\/strong>s\u00e3o compostos bin\u00e1rios formados por oxig\u00eanio e um outro elemento. Eles podem ser classificados de acordo com a natureza qu\u00edmica, a val\u00eancia do elemento ligado ao oxig\u00eanio e o car\u00e1ter \u00e1cido ou b\u00e1sico.
